(BusinessWeek) – North Dakota farmers have finished planting the state’s staple spring wheat crop, and ranchers are moving cattle out for summer grazing.

The Agriculture Department says in its latest crop and weather report that rain over the past week has replenished soil moisture in many areas but crops could use some warmer weather to boost development. Some farmers are worried about frost.

Planting of other key crops such as durum wheat, barley, corn and soybeans also is nearly wrapped up in North Dakota
