(Agriculture.com) – On Wednesday, the CME Group’s corn, soybean and wheat markets are expected to start higher.
The early calls for the commodities on Monday, September 23, 2015, are stronger. Corn is seen opening 2-4 cents higher, soybeans 7-8 cents higher, and wheat 7-8 cents higher.
In overnight trading, the Dec. corn futures contract traded 3 1/2 cents higher at $3.84. Nov. soybean futures traded 7 cents higher at $8.69.
Dec. wheat futures contract traded 8 cents higher at $5.03. For Dec. soybean meal futures, the contract traded $2.40 per short ton higher at $305.70, Dec. soybean oil futures traded $0.31 higher at $26.65.
The outside markets are favorable for Wednesday’s grain trade. The real factors driving the calls will be the higher overnight markets.
