Grains Mostly Higher Again Thursday

(CME Group) – At 6 a.m. CDT, corn futures are higher, soybeans lower, and wheat higher.

6:00 a.m. CME Globex:   Corn 1 higher, Soybeans 6 lower, Wheat 4 higher.
CME Globex Recap:    The overnight session was quiet again with soybeans giving back part of the gains seen over the last two days. Corn and wheat posted narrow trading ranges, continuing in their sideways trends. Outside markets were quietly mixed as well.
OUTSIDE MARKETS:   The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 185.23 points lower Wednesday at 12,570.95. The overnight session saw the Dow Jones futures trade 22 points higher, indicating stocks could see renewed buying interest early Thursday. Asian markets were mostly lower though the Nikkei was up 164.99 points at 8,829.72. European markets were also mostly lower. The overnight crude oil market was $0.18 lower at $86.14 while Brent crude was $0.29 higher at $109.90. The December gold contract was $7.00 lower at $1,723.10 while the U.S. dollar index is 0.064 higher at 81.120. Soybeans at the Dalian exchange were lower while Malaysian palm oil futures were higher.
