The early calls for the commodities on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, are mostly stronger. Corn is seen opening 2-4 cents higher, soybeans 2-4 cents lower, and wheat 3-5 cents higher.
In overnight trading, the Sept. corn futures contract traded 2 1/4 cents higher at $3.78. Nov. soybean futures traded 3 3/4 cents lower at $9.67.
Sept. wheat futures contract traded 3 1/4 cents higher at $5.10 1/2. For Oct. soybean meal futures, the contract traded $1.40 per short ton lower at $336.00, Sept. soybean oil futures traded $0.34 lower at $29.82.
The outside markets are favorable for Wednesday’s grain trade. The real factors driving the calls will be the mostly higher overnight markets.
