(Agriculture.com) – On Wednesday, the CME Group’s corn, soybean and wheat markets are expected to start lower.
The early calls for the commodities on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, are weaker. Corn is seen opening 1-2 cents lower, soybeans 4-6 cents lower, and wheat 4-6 cents lower.
In overnight trading, the July corn futures contract traded 3/4 of a cent lower at $3.61. July soybean futures traded 5 cents lower at $9.41.
July wheat futures contract traded 4 cents lower at $5.06. For July soybean meal futures, the contract traded $2.90 per short ton lower at $304.20, July soybean oil futures traded $0.15 higher at $32.33.
The outside markets are unfavorable for Wednesday’s grain trade. The real factors driving the calls will be the lower overnight markets.
