(Wisconsin Ag Connection) – Milk production in the United States during February totaled 17.0 billion pounds, up 1.8 percent from February 2017.
Production per cow averaged 1,807 pounds for February, 24 pounds above February 2017.
The number of milk cows on farms in the United States was 9.41 million head, 45,000 head more than February 2017, and 1,000 head more than January 2018.
