Ukraine’s Sunflower, Soybean Crops Will Rise About 3% in 2012

(Bloomberg) – Ukraine will increase the harvest of sunflowers and soybeans this year, researcher ProAgro said.
Soybean output will rise about 3 percent to 2.33 million metric tons from 2.26 million tons last year, Kiev-based ProAgro said in an e-mailed statement today. Sunflower seeds production will also climb about 3 percent to 9.73 million tons from 9.43 million tons, it said.
