Soybean, Wheat Markets Seen Up Friday

Beans_Corn_Soy_Lentils450x2(Agriculture.com) – On Friday, the CME Group’s corn, soybean and wheat markets are expected to start mostly higher.

The early calls for the commodities on Friday, May 1, 2015, are mostly stronger. Corn is seen opening 1-2 cents lower, soybeans 1-2 cents higher, and wheat 1-2 cents higher.

In overnight trading, the July corn futures contract traded 3/4 of a cent lower at $3.65. July soybean futures traded 3/4 of a cent higher at $9.76.

July wheat futures contract traded 1 1/4 cents higher at $4.75. For July soybean meal futures, the contract traded $0.20 per short ton lower at $315.90, July soybean oil futures traded $0.14 higher at $31.78.

The outside markets are favorable for Friday’s grain trade. The real factors driving the calls will be the mixed overnight markets.
