(Agriculture.com) – On Monday, the CME Group’s corn, soybean and wheat markets are expected to start higher.
The early calls for the commodities on Monday, August 10, 2015, are stronger. Corn is seen opening 4-5 cents higher, soybeans 7-8 cents better, and wheat 1-2 cents stronger.
In overnight trading, the Sept. corn futures contract traded 4 cents higher at $3.76. Nov. soybean futures traded 8 cents higher at $9.71.
Sept. wheat futures contract traded 1/2 of a cent higher at $5.11. For Sept. soybean meal futures, the contract traded $4.50 per short ton higher at $348.80, Sept. soybean oil futures traded $0.03 lower at $30.10.
The outside markets are favorable for Monday’s grain trade. The real factors driving the calls will be the higher overnight markets.
