    U.S. wheat producers depend on export markets to sell up to half their crop every year. Export success is a key price determinant. That is why wheat producers contribute about $12 million per year to support export development. Because they make this annual commitment, wheat producers qualify for federal funds administered by USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service.
